Mother’s Day is fast approaching and as I think about the many mother’s and women who inspire and uplift me constantly, I’m always grateful for the amazing example of Stephanie Nielson or Nie Nie as she is known to thousands of her blog readers around the globe. We have shared Nie Nie’s story many times on Boutique Cafe (past articles here, and here, and here, and here...).

This inspiring woman is never far from my thoughts, and though we have never met I feel blessed to read her words of love for her family, her faith in God, and her perseverance through daily struggle. As we celebrate the wonderful blessings of Motherhood and influential women in our lives this week, I wanted to share this very personal and tender story with you in her touching new YouTube video for the Mormon Messages channel. One fun part of the Moms Who Make It conference is our Moms Who Are Making It spotlight. During this time we will be honoring 10 moms who have had difficult life circumstances but have used them as a catalyst to change their lives for the better. These are moms who have inspired you to look at your own life and think, “I can make it too!”

We will collect all the nominations and randomly select ten to be honored at the conference. Each time a mom is nominated she receives an entry into the drawing, so the more nominations the better her chance of being spotlighted at our event. These moms will receive a full-day ticket to the conference and some fun swag! If you know a mom who is “making it,” please email or comment a quick summary (200 words or less) on why you think she should be honored during the Moms Who Make It conference.
