Whether you’re already experiencing true spring weather or still waiting for it while watching the falling snow (that would be me), Kensington Baby has your little one prepared for sun or snow with their super chic, super unique line of baby hats.
To put it simply, Kensington Baby has taken a simple knit cap and turned it into a fabulous fashion statement, but there’s nothing simple about these fab hats. The hats for baby girls are embellished with everything from posh ribbon (love the polka dots!), Swarovski crystals and flowers. Our little Livi received the Ella in white, and I can’t help but smile when I think about it. That hat is about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, especially when the cutest little girl is wearing it! With its green and white striped ribbon, sweet little flower and Swarovski crystal accents, what little girl wouldn’t make a fashion statement wearing the Ella or any other hat from the girls line?
But don’t think Kensington Baby is just for girls. Their boys hats have me wishing my little boy weren’t well into his terrible twos. With totally cool patches ranging from baseballs to fire trucks to hockey skates, your little one will be stylin’ in his stroller rain or shine (or snow in my case). Plus the 100% combed cotton baby rib hats fit 0 to 18 months and can be folded down as baby grows, so feel free to let your little one make that fashion statement until his second birthday. (After that the terrible twos take over and he may have a different idea as to what kind of fashion statement he wants to make! My two-year-old’s stylin’ outfit? His favorite pajamas and cowboy boots… You know, I bet if he had on a Kensington Baby hat it would totally complete the outfit!—Emily

Last week’s Bag Challenge was such a hit, it’s time to shift gears a bit and sing the Blues! Denim that is! For our Challenge this week we want to ask “Have YOU Got The Blues?”. We want everyone to blog about your fave pair of jeans this week, it can be jeans you already own or even a scoop on some hot denim duds that you have your eye on. So what’s your personal fancy? Skinny, Flair, boot cut? Low rise? (how low are we talking?) Share it all on your blogs and remember to come back and share your url so we can enjoy and even shop!
*To participate please post your “Dream Jeans” on your own personal blog, with picture and link back to this Challenge url. Once you blog your reply to the Challenge, come back to Boutique Cafe and list your blog link our comments so we can all come to view your post! It’s a fun way to get traffic to your personal blogs + we all get to know each other a little bit better.

Our Fashion Show features the designs of Aida from Anna Bella Designs this week. Vibrant colors, charming fabrics, loving details and much more go into her designs for little girls.
Designer Quote:
“My children are my inspiration. Watching them play and interact with one another fills me with such warmth and happiness. The innocence of a child’s laughter can quickly erase the stresses of every day life. This holds especially true when I’m able to see the excitement in my daughters’ eyes, Bella & Anna, every time I create a new set. To hear the squeal of joy as they ask each time in our native language, Danish, “Mommy, is that for me?” makes what I do a passion and not a hobby.
I enjoy creating everyday garments for girls. My philosophy is quite simple – clothing should be simple in design, yet colorful, as well as wearable and comfortable. “
-Aida Pedersen
