Puddle jumping never looked so good! {giveaway}

I’ve admitted by now—or should have admitted by now—I’m slightly fashion-challenged. I can put together the basics like a pair of jeans, stylish top and coordinating shoes, but when you throw something into the mix like a chunky necklace or, say, pair of Sorel Sorellington rain boots, I’m at a loss. Of course I had no problem donning a pair of their Shila boots, but those are a classic tan suede. No-brainer, those!
Sorel sent me a pair of their new, super stylin’ Sorellington rain boots. Typical me, I went with the black and white style; other color combos would really tax my already simple fashion brain and require a phone call to my friend Quinn in a panic asking her how to work them into an outfit. Here’s a little info about these little puddle jumpers:
The Sorellington combines all the comfort and protection you need in a Wellie with the durability and detail you expect from Sorel. Crafted with the same high-quality vulcanized rubber shell as our classic 1964 Pac boot, it features a bonded felt frost plug to insulate your footbed on colder days and a multi-directional lug outsole for grip.
Now that’s a high-tech soundin’ rain boot!
When my black and white Sorellingtons arrived, I whipped those babies out of the box and tried them on, hiked up pant legs and all. I couldn’t believe how comfy they were! I’m no Wellie-aficionado but these might be the most padded, comfy rain boot around. Plus the tall shaft made them feel a bit more chic and stylish, at least in my humble, little opinion.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to sport them around. The couple times it snowed it melted immediately or snowed on a Sunday, and I didn’t think I could pull off wearing my Sorellingtons with my Sunday dress. But I have a feeling with it being a mild Utah winter, we’ll have a very slushy, rainy spring so I’ll have plenty of chances to test them out. Of course, George didn’t need an excuse to try out my new boots:

I love the rain boots. I just sewed a rain jacket and the line green boots would match so good. Now I am not sure if I have style to pull them off but my coat with these boots would look so cute
