Show #101 – LIVE Feed from Quilt Market

Boutique Cafe made some history today at Quilt Market, as we are the first media outlet to offer a live feed directly from Market! What a thrilling (and scary) experience to attempt such a technical feat on my own. We taped within the press room and invited special guests Patty Young, Paula Prass and Elizabeth Cranmer to join me. Our feed went live at 11:30 am on Ustream.tv, we thank many of you viewers for popping by to support our live show with your questions and comments. You’re the best!
We loved the Live Feed option so much that we’re going to do another one tomorrow morning (Sunday) as well. I was absolutely drooling over that quilt every time I got near Patty’s booth. It’s absolutely gorgeous! And Elizabeth is just amazing, so sweet and talented and fun. I know lots of great things are headed her way!

Very beautiful quilt. The design looks very impressive with pretty color combination of pink, green, brown and little of orange-red. Great look!!!!

The appliques are so cheerful and retro fun! I would love to make this for my daughter’s bed since she is a big kindergartener now!

What a gorgeous quilt! I love making quilts too and that pattern is perfect. Ever since me and my hubby celebrated our 10th anniversary and he bought me a pair of gorgeous diamond earrings from http://www.idonowidont.com we decided to have a baby! So we want to make a beautiful quilt for our child when he/she is born!

This is a fantastic quilt! I have been looking for something like this to make for my daughters… something that will last and “hold memories”. I could make them different color variations and they would LOVE it.

Great job with the first live video feed! I did one for momlogic.com recently from the Women’s Conference in CA and it was a big crazy getting started! It’s amazing what we can do now to reach people. Love your site — and the energy you have … you never stop!
