Another Daily Dish confession: I am secretly glad my girls have never gotten into the American Girl thing. Though the dolls are amazingly real, in my opinion the price of the dolls and accessories is pretty unreal. Love your blog – I agree with your post. AG dolls are far too expensive – however they do give some historical context and have books for girls to cope with growing up.
