So we flew from Portland to Frankfurt (Germany) and then from Frankfurt to Brussels (Belgium). Then while we were there we flew from Brusssels to Newcastle (England). Flew down to North Carolina and then down to San Juan, Puerto Rico. From there, it's a 2 or 3 hour car trip to the east coast where we were staying with my SO's mom.
