I have done quite a few children’s shoes reviews (ooh, that rhymes!) here on the Daily Dish and I have to say, pediped is among my favorites. Their infant shoes actually stay on my children’s feet and their designs are to “drool” for! I literally jumped at the opportunity to feature pediped again on the Daily Dish, and not just because my daughter was able to “review” the Isabella red patent pediped Originals with her Christmas dress. pediped has a new line launching this month, and those of you with toddlers might want to set aside some of that tax refund for a pediped shopping spree!

pediped Flex is the company’s new line of larger, rubber-soled footwear for toddlers age 2 to 5+. The company received countless requests from customers for larger sizes of its popular podiatrist-recommend footwear, and fortunately for us all, pediped listened. I received a sneak peek pair of pediped’s new line and I am in love! pediped’s “to drool for” style was still there but in a shoe fit for my toddler’s feet.

pediped Flex shoes have a flexible, skid-resistant rubber sole, ultra-pliable flex zone (just under the ball of the foot), beneficial arch support, and a shock-absorbing cushion under the heel. What’s really cool is the customizable fit system: Each pair of pediped Flex will come with a 2mm insole to customize the fit so it’s just right for your child. I can’t think of another line of children’s shoes that does that. The new Flex line will have 15 styles to choose from (all to die for, I’m sure) including larger versions of pediped Originals. Sigh…I LOVE pediped!

As if these shoes weren’t cool enough, pediped Flex “have been officially recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association as being beneficial for children’s growing feet. This new line was awarded the APMA’s ‘Seal of Acceptance’ for its many beneficial attributes that promote quality foot health.” I wonder if a purchase of pedipeds is a reimbursable health expense?
