I can’t be the only one with a toddler who’d rather be outside of his stroller rather than restrained in a five-point harness. And when you’ve got a stand-up tandem stroller that isn’t that comfortable for the aforementioned toddler it turns a leisurely stroll around the block into a painful experience for both mom and toddler. The night we received the Swiss Strolli Rider I had my husband hook it up to our Graco stroller. With a good 9 or 10 sizing options, from round to square, we found the perfect fit in no time. And with a seat that has two height positions and footrests and handlebars that secure wherever is most comfortable we had it ready to go for George by the time he woke up in the morning. I was a little anxious to see how easy it would be for me to push a stroller with George hanging out alongside me.

Would he get in my way? Would it be awkward? I can happily say the answer was “no” to both questions. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and I had more than enough room to walk comfortably alongside him. It handled corners beautifully. And believe it or not, George never once got off his new Swiss Strolli Rider! No buckles, no harnesses, and yet he hung out completely content. He did test out if standing up were an option and though he enjoyed this position as well I don’t recommend it. He even got brave enough to do the “hey, mom, no hands!” thing but fortunately that didn’t last too long.

Happy Stroller recommends a child be at least 15 months of age, walking on his own, and less than 44 pounds to ride the Swiss Strolli Rider.
