Designer Quote:
“Hi! My name is Shannon and I live in Wisconsin. I’m married to my bestfriend and we have 4 amazing children (3 boys and 1 girl). My mom is a seamstress and has taught me a lot. When my daughter, Ashlyn was born so was my love of custom boutique clothing. She is truly my inspiration for everything I design. She loves to model for me. I started with making button t’s and knee socks. I love to make boys and girls clothing, but I mostly do girls designs. I would love to have my own little boutique shop someday.”

Shop Btrflyshan in her eBay auctions and her Etsy Shop. You can learn more about Shannon’s designs on her eBay Me page as well as her blog.**Please allow time for the show to load. A HUGE Thank you to Lisa from iza-bella.com for producing our Fashion Show this week!

A quick-fit for a quick fix

Babble ChicRaise your hand if you’ve got a car seat that’s been used by at least two kids and is currently being used by a third. Yep, that would be our family, and that car seat, though still in great condition as far as safety restraints, has a cover that has seen better days. Thank heavens for companies like Babble Chic that make fashionable car seat covers so that third (and eventually fourth) child can ride in as much style—if not more so—than his predecessors.

Babble ChicMy little boy is the proud owner of Babble Chic’s Puff toddler car seat cover. Besides the way cool design (Mom loves the colors; George loves the dragons), this car seat cover truly has a quick-fit design. I had the cover out of the packaging and on his car seat in less than 5 minutes, and I didn’t even have to remove or unbuckle a thing! It was awesome! And the patent-pending design includes an attached pouch so you can easily store the cover when not in use or for storing the cover when those unexpected events (are they ever really unexpected?) happen. Secure2Me...and baby’s warm and protected. How can you do both? By adding a Secure2Me Blanket and Eclipse Solarveil Blanket to your list of must-have accessories for any outing. “Functional, fashionable, and flexible” and designed by mom who tucked a blanket around her little ones whenever and wherever she could, Secure2Me blankets truly do make mom’s life easier.

Secure2MeI received both the Pink Bon Bon Secure2Me blanket and the Eclipse Solarveil Sun Protection Cover in khaki. Just what makes the Secure2Me blanket a lifesaver? Sure, it’s constructed of the highest quality, soft and stylish fabrics (Minky chenille or 100% Egyptian cotton, anyone?), but what makes it so cool is the patent-pending design. Each corner of this yummy blanket features a fabric-safe clip so you can secure it to a stroller, car seat, baby sling, mom’s clothing, you name it. No more tucking, re-tucking and readjusting. Just clip and go! Plus the unique shape makes it a perfect fit for the above mentioned baby gear and then some. Read the rest of this entry »
