Boutique Café Family Photo Contest
September 17th, 2007Last year, Boutique Cafe brought you a fun filled photo contest entitled “Where in the World is Boutique Cafe?”. Entrants sent in pictures from all over the world, showcasing themselves promoting Boutique Cafe. It was a great hit with our readers, and the entries were wonderful.
This Fall we’re breaking out the camera’s again and turning you into your own personal paparazzi with our “Boutique Cafe Family Photo Contest” sponsored by Philips. That’s right, we’re spotlighting You on Boutique Cafe, by having you submit a family photo that shows the unique spirit and feel of your family.
From Sept.17 – Oct. 25, 2007 – you may enter your photos to be eligible for one of FOUR incredible prizes. Philips has teamed up with Boutique Cafe to giveaway 4 Digital Photo Frames that will rock your world and showcase your family photos for years to come. The prizes will be these gorgeous Seasonal Edition Philips Frames.
As entries are received they will be posted in our online gallery & Flickr account > for BC readers to view and enjoy.
We also invite you to promote the Boutique Cafe Family Photo Contest by placing our contest banner ad on your website or blog and linking back to this page.

Only digital photos accepted for this contest. To enter please JOIN our Flickr Group » and upload your photos to our “Boutique Cafe Family Photo Contest” (use tags for your photos: Boutique Cafe, Family Photo, Contest, Philips). You also may submit your digital photos by email to info@boutiquecafe.com (Subject: Family Photo Contest). Each entrant may submit a Maximum of 4 pictures.
Pictures must be taken by you and not a commercial photographer. Show us your family in a unique setting, in black and white, or color – the sky’s the limit. The picture may include one subject in the shot or many. We just want to see your family in action. It’s all about FAMILY this Fall on Boutique Cafe – get snapping those shots!
By submitting your photo entry to Boutique Cafe you are allowing us the right to post and share your photo in our online gallery, you allow us the right to promote the contest, winners etc. through the use of your photo in future Boutique Cafe contests.
Entries must be received by the contest closing date of October 25, 2007. Neither Boutique Cafe, the sponsors, nor its agencies of this contest are responsible for entries that are lost, late, delayed, misdirected, unintelligible, illegible, incomplete, inappropriate or otherwise as deemed by the judges.
To be considered in the contest, all submissions must be original, unpublished photographs.
Entrants must be from the USA or Canada in order to be eligible.
Limit of one (1) prize per person or household.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not convertible to cash.
Eligibility: The Boutique Cafe Family Photo Contest is open to any amateur photographer excepting the immediate family members of our sponsors.
By submitting their photo to Boutique Cafe, the contestant grants the sponsors the unrestricted and exclusive rights to use photograph(s) for any purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, publishing your photograph(s) in print or electronic form for promotional purposes without further compensation, and the right to use the photographers name as a credit along with the photograph. The photographer must own all rights to any photographs entered in this contest. It is the responsibility of the contestant to ensure that publication of the photographs raises no legal claims.
Judging: A qualified panel of sponsors judges will judge Eligible entries. All decisions of the Contest judges are final.
By submitting the photo via email to Boutique Cafe, the participant consents to entry of his or her submission and agrees to these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters to this contest.

Join the group by clicking the “Join this group†button on the right said of the page
Upload your family photo – remember there is a limit of 4 – to “Your Photosâ€
Once your photo is uploaded you can give it a title and description if you want. Don’t forget your tags! They help when others search the site and give you more exposure. TAGS: BoutiqueCafe, Family Photo, Philips, Contest, etc.
Then click on your photo – this takes you to a page where just that picture is highlighted and it also has several “buttons†on top of your photo – add note, send to group, add to set, blog this, etc.
Click on the “Send to Group†button. A drop down list will appear with all the Flickr Groups that you belong to. Click on “Boutique Café Family Photo Contest†group. And then OK.
Your photo has now been added to the group and is eligible to win 1 of 4 frames from Phillips!
