Sumo Urban Lounge Gear

August 7th, 2007

Sumo Urban Lounge GearMy family is in love with one of the coolest products I’ve ever had the chance to test and review, it’s the Omni bag from Sumo Urban Lounge Gear. It’s a glorified beanbag, a chair, a lounge, a floor pillow (and if you’re like my boys it’s also a trampoline accessory!).

What I loved right away about the Omni bag was the choice of colors that Sumo Urban Lounge Gear offers, we chose the Fiery Red and it didn’t disappoint. These chairs are so comfortable and versatile, once you have one in the room it instantly becomes the favorite place to flop down. But these baby’s aren’t only for kids, adults will enjoy the Sumo bag too. My hubby was shocked at how comfortable it really is, I’ve since found him many times kicking back on the bag and reading or cuddling with the kiddos. Sumo Urban Lounge Gear

Strength and durability is always a huge factor for me, especially in our home of 4 young boys! The Omni has passed our rigorous Dylan, Joshy, Brigs and Noah testing with flying colors. It wasn’t long before our Omni was the “landing pad” for wild stunts and high flying action on the trampoline. The space age rip-proof nylon held up to our family craziness and is still alive and kickin’, best of all the bag still looks great as the nylon is just that durable. It’s water repellant, stain resistant and totally chic for your relaxation needs.Sumo Urban Lounge Gear

The bag is filled with top quality Sumo Beads that ensure comfort. Once you sink in you feel supported, and don’t want to get up to do any house work. The Omni measures 4.5’ x 5.5’ and it only weighs 18 lbs. Sumo Urban Lounge Gear has their Summer Sale going on right now, you can snag an Omni bag for $129 in one of 10 great colors and shipping right now is FREE. Get a little closer, cozy up in your own Omni Bag this summer. – Daria

Who thought flash cards could actually be fun?

August 5th, 2007

Goosie CardsI’ve had a lot of experience with flash cards. I was kind of a flash card junkie when I was younger—sad, but true. We own a box or two of flash cards here, though they seem to be gathering dust rather than enlightening young minds. But I have a feeling the latest flash card collection I’ve created will get a heck of a lot more use than its predecessors. And yes, I said “created.”

Goosie CardsGoosie Cards has taken the common flash card and turned it on its head. The company lets you create your own interactive flash cards that help you get involved in your child’s learning process. I’ve had a taste of how Goosie Cards work, and I’ve never had so much fun creating something educational for my kids. I hopped online, easily set up my account, and began uploading photos to the different albums I had created. After I had at least 10 good photos, I began creating a 10-card set. I simply clicked on a photo, added text, previewed the card, and then saved it. I had cards with pictures of George’s big sisters, other family members, George playing ball, and lots of other fun photos. It was a totally painless process and a heck of a lot of fun! Cover your feet in works of art

August 2nd, 2007

TadpolesJust when you think you don’t need another new pair of shoes you find a pair unlike anything you own, and the only possible choice you have is to buy them. At least, this is how it works for me! I guarantee when you see the shoes from Tadpoles Hand Painted Shoes for Kids you’ll want to add a pair to both your and your child’s collections.

TadpolesTadpoles sent me a pair of their women’s Rachel sandals and a pair of the children’s Pink Polka Dot shoes. At first glance you can’t miss the fabulous and fun designs, but if you look closer (and read the fine print) you’ll find out all their shoes are actually hand painted. Those hot pink hibiscus flowers on the black background? Hand painted. The fun little black polka dots on the hot pink background? Hand painted. That means if you own a pair of Tadpoles you own something truly unique. Read the rest of this entry »
