The perfect poncho
June 10th, 2007
Have you ever broken a sweat while getting your little one dressed for cooler weather? Those wriggly bodies just don’t want to put their arms through any sleeves and refuse to wait to be zipped. Forget it if buttons are involved! If this sounds familiar then I’ve got something you’re going to absolutely love. Say goodbye to jacket-zipping workouts and hello to Po Po’s ponchos!
Karen Stark, a mom and the woman behind Po Po’s (a word meaning “Grandma” in Chinese), has designed a line of ultra soft, ultra stylish ponchos so we moms can get our kids out the door in a lot less time and with a lot less effort. With snap corners at the neckline and snaps for armholes, these micro fleece ponchos are literally a “snap” to put on. Lined with 100% cotton trim fabric in some truly fun styles, Po Po’s are not your typical poncho. I received the Strawberry Banana Cream poncho and immediately had to show my girls, who both thought it was the cutest thing ever. I love the accent pocket in the front and the snaps under the arms are an ingenious way to keep little arms covered.
Po Po’s ponchos are creatively named after ice cream flavors””yum! Made in Vancouver, BC in a sweatshop free environment, the ponchos are available in sizes for toddlers aged 1-5. Don’t wait too long to get your own taste of how easy and sweat-free life can be once you’ve purchased the perfect poncho. ““Emily
