It’s all about portion control

April 1st, 2007

FoodCuberI totally believe in the concept of portion control when trying to watch what I eat, but I’m way too lazy to actually make sure my portions are the right size. I’d rather just assume the Olive-Garden-size bowl of pasta is about the same size as my closed fist, give or take a fist or two. But now that I’ve discovered FoodCuber, I no longer need to “round up” or guess on the right portion size (dang it!).

“Simply put, FoodCuber is the newest and easiest way to pre-portion and store food in one easy step.” That’s really all there is to it, but don’t let this simple statement fool you. With three different trays (2-cup, 1-cup, and ½-cup) you can prepare all kinds of recipe-ready portions, fill the tray, snap on the lid, and then store them (freezer, fridge, or cupboard) for easy future use.

FoodCuberThink of the possibilities! Watching your weight? Use the FoodCuber to help with portion control. Want to prepare your own baby food? The FoodCuber is perfect for freshly made baby food you need to transport to daycare or Grandma’s house. Heck, you can even use FoodCuber for storing that homemade pet food! Restaurants, caterers, health enthusiasts, and even senior care providers are all finding the FoodCuber an essential kitchen tool. And the busy mom? I’ve already thought of many ways I can make great use the FoodCuber besides portioning out those Girl Scout cookies.

The FoodCuber may be a brand new product but it’s already creating buzz. Featured in the recent issue of Real Simple magazine and in the upcoming May issue of Cooking Light, the FoodCuber is winning rave reviews from homemaker and chefs alike. And why not? The FoodCuber is a kitchen tool you’ll actually use! –Emily
