A Wardrobe for Kenadie

January 2nd, 2007

Kenadie Auction and WardrobeHere’s a chance to get involved in a heartwarming cause. Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley, known around the world as “the littlest angel”, was born Feb.13, 2003, weighing just 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Kenadie was diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a genetic condition that is believed to affect only about 100 people in the world. She isn’t expected to grow past about 30 inches or weigh more than 8 pounds.

So, Swanky Moms and Our Sponsors (including Boutique Cafe and Journal Modiste) will be building Kenadie a custom OOAK boutique clothing wardrobe, if you are interested in making or donating something for this beautiful little girl visit http://www.swankymoms.com/kenadie.html.

Swanky Moms has also put together an auction, for interested sponsors. Thank you all for your kind hearts.

  3. Rachael says:

Since I’m watching her on TV right now, I’m pretty convinced she’s real…

  4. Lily says:

Lithia, you should tell your friend to tune into The Learning Channel to watch a program called “Incredibly Small: Kenadie’s Story.” The show focuses on primordial dwarfism and the challenges faced by Kenadie’s family as a result of her condition. There’s no doubt that this amazing little girl is very real!

  5. Tiffany says:

I think that Kenadie is going to turn out into a great person. How tall she is or what she’s able to do and not able to do doesn’t make her any different from anyone else. She’s on this earth for a reason, and she is one of God’s creations. Anyone that has something to say about her that is wrong, they’ll get what they have coming to them. Kenadie’s parents obviously love her and it doesn’t matter to them what capabilities she has, God does not make mistakes, and Kenadie was deffinetely not a mistake. I’m praying that she will grow up to be an old woman, or get to atleast experience driving and maybe getting married, because she’s a person and there’s no reason for her not to be able to have that enjoyment. Anyone that is doubting this little girl is wrong. You’re showing that she is some kind of unwanted person but she’s not. I give Kenadie and her family my blessings.

she is so sweet and has a lot of cuteness cuddled in her, but what people don’t remember is that she is just a little girl like anyother girl her age, and if people keep coming to her and saying awww your cute, an angel aren’t you beautiful she will notice a lot more she is different.

You have a sweet and beautiful daughterin Kenadie, she has a sharp mind and it is great that you will not suffer the heartbreak of the families I work with, whose children have severe autism. My 6 year old daughter Malina says that she is really beautiful, and she wishes that she could meet her. love and blessings from Peny, Manu, Malina and Christian in New ZealaNd.

    Hi.

I just found this link online. I’d like to crochet a poncho for Kenedie, if she’d like something like that. If she would like that, could you please let me know what color or colors she’d like? I can do it in pastels or in bright colors ~ what ever she’d like. I make them for my 2 granddaughters every spring for Easter and they love them.

If this is something Kenedie would like, could you send me the circumference of her neck, and the length from her neck, over her shoulders, to her wrist? I’m also making afghans for my grandchildren’s beds ~ or to cuddle up in while watching TV. If Kenedie would like something like that, I would love to do that, too. If she’d like, I could make the afghan in colors to match her room, or just in her favorite colors. Please let me know what dimensions you’d like to have the afghan be so that it’s comfortable for her to pull up around her while watching tv.

    Hope to hear from you.

Just make sure you get the right size of Kenadie, because according to the My Shocking Story documentary on Taylor Marcello, Kenadie looks much bigger than she was previously. Tyler, who is such a darling child, is much smaller. I hope that people will start to support Tyler and other primordial children as much as they do for Kenadie.

  16. Imoni says:

  19. Becky says:

I am visiting Dusseldorf, Germany and just saw a tv show with a German boy with primordial dwarfism. I live in Milwaukee and I recently saw two tv shows on TLC about primordial dwarfism. I think Kenadie and all of the children featured on the TLC shows have wonderful families and are very lucky to have the chance to meet other kids with primordial dwarfism like themselves and have fun together at the Little People of America conference.

Kenadie has such a touching story. Watching her on Discovery Health as I type this. Kenadie will touch thousands of hearts. ♥

  23. Angela says:

Kenadie’s adorable. I saw her show on Discovery Health, too. She was three at the time. She acted like any other three year old and it was obvious she is very bright and is totally aware of what is going on around her. Her parents are amazing people and take SUCH good care of their little girl. This story is an inspiration to us all.

  24. Hallie says:

    She is absoulety beautiful!

  25. Yalanda says:

To the parents: I have a special needs child (whom I have never considered special needs), and it can be hard at times. But, I always just thank God for miracles such as these children. So, hand in there and i wish you the best.
