Another one of my favorite companies is back in the Daily Dish, and just in time for Valentine’s Day. Endangered Species Chocolate, a company that believes “all life is precious and deserving of our respect, kindness and care, and this Reverence for Life ethic is at the heart of each our business practices,” gives you a great way to wish your friends a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Endangered Species has a new seasonal product, Endangered Species Chocolate Valentine Cards. Each card features a sweet “valentine-y” saying and includes an animal picture from one of their decadent chocolate bars complete with an interesting fact about the animal. And of course the cards are printed on recyclable paper.

To go with your Endangered Species Valentine’s Cards I suggest their new Dark and Milk Chocolate Love Treats. These all-natural treats, which of course I had to sample, don’t disappoint. I will admit, I’ve tried using sling-type carriers before and no matter how fabulous I think they are, my babies have thought otherwise. But that all changed when I tried the new Mei Hip carrier from EllaRoo.

I love t-shirts. My favorite casual outfit? T-shirt and jeans. My favorite night-on-the-town outfit? T-shirt and jeans. So whenever I come across a fantastic line of tees, I just have to share.

Last year we introduced you to Immedium’s The Year of the Dog: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac, the first book in an annual series highlighting the twelve animals of the Chinese New Year. The illustrations were eye-catching and fun and we enjoyed learning more about the traits of someone born in the Year of the Dog. Well, it’s time again to celebrate the Chinese New Year and Immedium’s got the book for you!

I was able to get my hands on an advanced copy of The Year of the Pig: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac. Being careful to keep the unbound pages in order, my kids and I sat down to read about another animal from the Chinese Zodiac, Patricia the piglet. Patricia undergoes an amusing journey and learns to appreciate her true nature, something all kids need to learn. But that’s all I’m going to tell you. If you want to read more, you’ll have to get your hands on your own copy.

I love it when my children are able to learn about the beliefs and traditions of different cultures, and books from the Tales from the Chinese Zodiac series are a great way for them to do so. I highly recommend starting your own collection. –Emily

Search the New Group “LimeVine”!! The big day is finally here, I’ve been waiting for weeks to see the inaugural launch of LimeVine a new group on eBay formed by Eva of Fresh & Vintage. The auctions are outstanding – CONGRATULATIONS ladies on your successful first launch.

This is one of those reviews I’m totally jazzed to write, and for those who are into organization and planning (or have the New Year’s resolution to do so), you’re going to be just as excited as I am about the products from momAgenda.

The momAgenda Day Planner is an upscale day planner that provides a way to track multiple schedules. This fabulous planner features week-at-a-view spreads with rows for each child, Mom, as well as space for notes, dinner suggestions, and an inspirational quote for each week. I couldn’t wait to crack mine open!

I was sent the momAgenda Desktop Planner in lime. With such fun resources as a favorite websites section, save-the-date pages for all of 2008, and extras like spaces for notes on books, movies, vacation planning, and party planning, this is the be-all, end-all of day planners as far as I’m concerned. I immediately slipped one of the satin bookmarks in this week’s dates and started filling in all the great spaces with my to-do’s for the week. I was so excited about the separate spaces for each of my kids so I could write down more details about their activities if need be (reminders, what to bring, place, etc.) Plus I have all my meals planned out for the week already!
