Soft as silk

You can get a prescription for just about anything these days, but can you get one for your little one’s delicate skin? Actually, yes you can. MD Moms has created the first pediatrician-developed skin care line for babies appropriately named Baby Silk.
“Baby Silk combines a pediatrician’s knowledge with a mom’s loving care.” The two women behind MD Moms, Dr. Diane Truong and Dr. JJ Levenstein, are both board-certified pediatricians and moms, so they understand that our little one’s need special products designed specifically for their delicate skin. With ingredients like marine silk, botanicals, Vitamins E and B5, Baby Silk products “provide antioxidant protection, relieve dryness, promote healing, and protect the skin’s natural moisture barriers.” Are you sure there isn’t a Baby Silk prescription for adults?
I received Baby Silk’s Gentle All-Over Clean wash, Daily Skin Protection lotion, Gentle Scalp Rub, and Umbilical Cord Care swabs, and that night George was able to try out everything but the swabs. He of course didn’t voice an opinion, but let me do the honors. I absolutely loved the smell of these products. If I could give you a scratch-n-sniff sticker, I would. They have a very light, fresh, soft smell, and that doesn’t even do the fragrance justice.
Once George was out of the bath and lotioned up, I couldn’t help but smell him every chance I got. The few little dry patches on his scalp were gone and his skin was truly silky soft. I wish we could have tested the belly button swabs because the product is pretty cool. The pack contains individual snap-and-squeeze swabs with just enough alcohol for one application. No bottles of rubbing alcohol and boxes of Q-tips to mess with. Talk about decluttering your changing table!
If you want your little one to have yummy, touchable, super soft skin, than Baby Silk should be part of your daily, or at least bath time, regimen. And to make you feel good on the inside, MD Moms designates a different children’s charity each year, which receives a portion of the process from the sale of their products. Silky meets super cause”¦now that’s a great combination (almost as great as the fragrance!). –Emily
