November 3rd, 2006
Blossom Street is excited to announce the GRAND OPENING of…The Waterfront

New Designers in a New Neighborhood!
In case you haven’t noticed, Blossom Street has become one of the fastest-growing online boutique clothing sites. Beginning with the main shoppes on Blossom Street, over the past year or so it has expanded to “The Arbors” and “The Pavilion.” Now, Blossom Street is again welcoming a new neighborhood!
“The Waterfront” will celebrate its GRAND OPENING on November 9th, with 14 new shoppes, many with two incredible designers. According to Francoise Lama-Solet, one of the organizers of the new neighborhood, “each and every designer will be involved in this neighborhood, she says. “Our goal is to be an active neighborhood, where customers will just LOVE to shop!”
Blossom Street is a busy place these days! With so many neighborhoods buzzing with excitement, and shoppe after shoppe filled with gorgeous creations, you are sure to find something that is just perfect from one of the many talented designers around the village! And now, with “The Waterfront” shoppes opening, there will be so much more to choose from.
Brand new and exciting designs will be stocked in “The Waterfront” shoppes on the 1st and 3rd weeks of every month, and there will be a new Guest Designer in the Fashion House every 2nd and 4th week of the month. Be sure to stop by Blossom Street every Thursday to see their new listings as well as to welcome the Guest Designer in the Fashion House! Or take time to visit the neighborhoods of Blossom Street any day of the week for new listings, as some designers feature new designs throughout the week.
In addition to the Fashion Show House where talented guest designers will be featured every other week, you can sign up to receive the weekly Blossom Street newsletter where you will hear all the buzz on Blossom Street, and be the first to know about all the beautiful listings by the creative designers in the new “Waterfront” neighborhood! Don’t miss the first Fashion Show . . . to be held on the day of their Grand Opening, November 9th. Along with their first fashion show, the designers of “The Waterfront” shoppes will be holding some fun contests on that day, featuring great prizes, all donated by the new designers in the neighborhood. Welcome to the neighborhood! All the shoppe keepers on Blossom Street, whether in the Main Shoppes, The Arbors, or the Pavilion are looking forward to working with our new neighbors in The Waterfront Shoppes!
Let me introduce you to the newest neighbors on Blossom Street:
Francoise Lama-Solet: Hi, My name is Francoise. Designing children’s outfits is my passion. I don’t have a unique style. My designs have a European flare, but they can be very different from one to another. I like to think out of the box, and to have original, unique designs. I belong to Boutique Rally and also RNB.So*Euro: I am a full time work at home mom, I have 2 little girls Maddie 2 and Kailey 8. I love every bit of designing and sewing! Always trying to think up something new and spicy I have been married to my high school sweetie for 8 yrs.
KaNoodles Boutique : Fun, Sweet and Full of Style…..describes KaNoodles Boutique creations. With over 20 years of experience, I love to knit, crochet and sew custom and OOAK boutique clothing.Babybelladesign: I have been designing clothing for little girls for six years. I love working with vintage textiles. I also create adorable hair flowers!
Abby*lane: I’m Christina from Abby*Lane. I started sewing when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter, after having four boys! I originally started with girls’ clothing, but I was really drawn more toward the boy stuff. Go figure! My style is more fun and funky, with a boy’s rough and tough play in mind.
Abunchakidsinc : I am Gail of Abunchakidsinc. I am a children’s clothing designer specializing in casual and comfortable. I like children to be able to play and be children in my attire. Sewing most of my life, eBay caught my attention roughly 2 years ago and I have been going at it since!
JuneBugs*n*JellyBeans: I’m Kim, aka JuneBugs*n*JellyBeans. I love making fun, funky clothes for girls and boys! Sometimes I do the fah-fah and frilly stsuff . . . but the rebel in me likes to “funk it up” a bit at times . . . and you’ll often see that in my designs. I love all things retro and vintage, too.
Fleur l’enfant: I began sewing children’s clothing 7 years ago and it has been a passion ever since. I love to create simple designs combining vintage fabrics and notions with new fabrics for a truly unique look.
In.Full.Bloom: My name is Ashley of In Full Bloom. I design jewelry and accessories for adults and children. I am blessed with an awesome son, Avery who is 9 as well as a beautiful daughter, Ayrington who is 4. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Kristofer who I couldn’t imagine life without. Having the gift of creativity has allowed me the ability to stay home with my children”¦ something I am so grateful for!
Valleybrook Farm: I have been sewing since childhood, but started my business after my daughter was born and I found that all of the beautiful boutique clothing in the stores were very uncomfortable and scratchy. I wanted to create clothes that were as comfortable as they were beautiful. I am a perpetual child of the 70s, so all of my seta and tops have a retro influence.
doris_marie: Hi, I’m Doris of doris_marie. I love to design and create distinctively unique childrens clothing and accessories.
The Whimsical Garden: My name is Danielle Storm and I design and create hair accessories and jewelry for children and adults. Thus, “The Whimsical Garden” was born in late 2000. We have been steadily growing our business since. We take great pride in our craftmanship. We use only high-quality materials and take meticulous care to ensure our products are heirloom quality. We owe all our success to our loyal customers. Thank you and may God richly bless you!
Curleezboutique: Everyone knows me in these neck of the woods, as ‘Curlz’. Designing/sewing has become a real passion for me. It is truly a job I love! I am married to my best friend , Frank, for 11 years. We have a gorgeous daughter, Casey, who will be 11 in March. I love to work with people and have made many friends! I offer OOAK items along with custom. Although I offer customs, no two are ever exactly alike! Hope you stop by sometime to check me out!
