Living the Bohemian lifestyle
October 15th, 2006
Both my son George and I have had a taste of the Bohemian lifestyle and we are definitely ready to live it. Over the past few days we have been sampling the fresh, organic flavors of Bohemian Baby and I’m going to find it hard to go back food as we knew it before.
Bohemian Baby was born after Anni Daulter, mother of two, and her husband quit their jobs to make a change for the baby food world that was dedicated to health and nutrition of babies. Anni had a career in social work and teaching, while Tim was a business consultant with a PhD in chemical engineering. Both are working hard to shift America’s consciousness about feeding babies, helping them to understand all of the many benefits of freshly prepared baby food. They also support a belief in sustainable living and have implemented an amazing recycling program in support of preserving the planet and using less.
And their line of baby food is just as impressive as their mission””I speak from personal tasting experience. George and I received a sampling of foods from all of their delicious lines: Bo Baby Basics (single ingredient purees), Bo Baby Blends & Grains (more complex flavors and textures), and Bo Baby Cultural Café© Meals (12+ months). Bohemian Baby sent us such a wide variety to sample we haven’t yet made it through them all, but I will tell you what we’ve had has been nothing less than gourmet! Our personal favorites are the Spicy Bean Burger Bites and Pear Raspberry Yogurt. We can’t wait to try the Butternut Squash Risotto or Pure Fuji Apples.
If you’re wondering why I keep using words like “our” and “we”, it’s because Bohemian Baby is so full of flavor and freshness that I couldn’t help but steal a few bites. And let me tell you, I’ve NEVER been tempted to do that with off-the-shelf baby food. With flavors like Pure Fresh Mangos, Yellow Squash~Carrot~Broccoli, Apples~Granola~Oats, Pear~Blackberry Yogurt, and Basil~Pesto~Pasta, and Pumpkin Harvested Stew, how can you not warm up a jar for yourself? (Speaking of jars, Bohemian Baby comes in the cutest jars ever with a note to toss the lids and let Bohemian Baby recycle the jars.
All Bohemian Baby foods are purely fresh and never frozen. The recipes are truly unique””no simple “mixed vegetables” here””with quite possibly the highest nutritional value on the market. Writing this review is making me hungry, so I’m off to go sneak a jar of Kiwi~Pear~Raisin before George finds out”¦—Emily

This sounds like such an awesome company, especially since their product is so appealing! I love the commitment to feeding our babies in a more healthy way – we need to start them off right! That includes teaching them that good-for-you can be delicious

I’ve been thinking about this all day! Which is hilarious, since both of my kiddos are well past needing baby food… but what I keep laughing about is Emily eating a jar of this for her snack
She is right, I never ever would have wanted to taste baby food before! But that Basil Pesto Pasta & the Apple Granola Oats sound tempting
