He was an only child at the time and the teacher held a grudge against me because I sent him at age 5, she always encouraged the parents to hold back BOYS with Spring and Summer birthdays, which I would never have done in a million years, he makes 100% on most tests and is on the honor role, so I am glad I did not listen to her. One boy the same age as Cody was held back to age 6 on the advice of this teacher, he has since failed a grade and is now a 4th grader instead of a 6th grader like my son, they are 2 months apart in age. It is very hard sending your children to school, for me it was a huge adjustment that I am still not used to 6 years later. I hope it is easier for me in 2007 sending Paige. Shelli akersmomof2 Daria,
