georgie tees - Fresh from the Bakery
July 28th, 2006
humor. the only way to survive. This is the mantra of t-shirt company extraordinare, georgie tees. Started in 2005 by friends Emily and LeShan, they have grown their business based on celebrating the humor in motherhood and childhood with style. I love their concept of making the reality of day-to-day life into something fun and uplifting. georgie tees are “a drug-free way to avoid going insane,” and nobody needs humor more than I do right now with four young boys with boundless energy!
Yesterday the site launched their new line of humorous and top quality tees that are fresh from the georgie tees bakery. When you visit the georgie tees website you’ll be wowed by all the incredible new styles to choose from. The designs are as delicious as homemade pie but without the calories. One of my new favorites has to be their “make babies not war” tee for the preggo mama in your life. I also adore the “i scream” and “sharp shooter” tees for babies age 3 - 24 months. If you’re looking for the ultimate in fun-to-wear maternity tees, look no further than their “made it past third base” shirt! georgie tees are the perfect indulgence for the expectant mom and her little bundle.
A cool feature of each georgie tee is the tagless collar. The georgie tees label, including washing instructions, is screened in for ultimate comfort. Their maternity tees are a soft cotton blend with a bit of stretch, giving you the perfect fit to celebrate your new curves–especially that beautiful bump! So run on over to georgie tees and order up some home-baked goodness. Your baby will be the cutest little puddin’ & pie on the block. - Daria

Hi everyone! I didn’t mention in the review but some of you may already know this. The co-owner of georgie tees is our very own Emily! Emily is the contributing editor here at Boutique Cafe and such a multi-talented gal. We’re so proud of Emily and excited about their wonderful tees. So this review was close to my heart, and their logo makes me hungry! LOL!
Congratulations to Emily on her success!

Love the original fresh approach of Georgie Tees- my current fave is the new Make Babies not War- I can think of a few grandmas-in -waiting ( hint to the married kid!) and mom’s who aren’t pregnant but want to make a statement- heck, I have a son-in law who would definitely wear this shirt and put one on his kids, too ! Any chance it will be available in non maternity t? Do you ever make tees for guys ?
Love your stuff Emily !

You know, we don’t currently make tees for guys but have thought about it. RIght now we’re focusing on infant & maternity but are thinking of perhaps doing some toddler tees down the road, and then if we’re still around and selling we can branch out into other “markets.” Thanks for the great feedback!

[...] And speaking of great tees, in my top of the year I can’t forget to mention Georgie Tees. Not only is the company owned by my dear friend and cohort Emily but, they have humorous and adorable sayings on quality tees. I especially love such cool phrases as “Heavy Drinker” for your baby or “Does this shirt make me look fat?” for maternity moms. Georgie Tees are definitely going places…read my full review of them here - Daria [...]
