little twig—not just for little ones
May 19th, 2006
I first came across little twig while reading a recent issue of Life & Style Weekly. The name and the claim of being all-natural and organic sparked my interest and I went online to check it out. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed. Little twig offer a great line of bath products, from baby wash to baby powder to diaper cré¨me, all free of ingredients like mineral oil, talcum, sulfates, TEA, MEA, and DEA that can be harmful to baby’s skin. Instead they use time-tested 100% natural and organic ingredients like aloe vera, vitamin E, shea butter, and jojoba oil. And the company’s philosophy really struck a chord as a mom. Here’s a small excerpt. (I suggest you go online and read more.)
Children mean the world to us. And the world means everything to our children. That is why little twig is committed to family, community and the environment. We believe in protecting these foundations so our little ones can grow up healthy, happy and full of potential.
Yeah. Pretty cool. Now for the review! Little twig sent their Lavender, Chamomile & Tea Tree Baby Wash and Bubble Bath, and their Lavender, Lemon & Tee Trea Bodymilk and Baby Oil. The first thing I did was try out the Bodymilk””on myself, of course. It not only smelled fabulous but the name was right on target; the lotion was smooth as milk. I put some on just before writing this review and I’m oohing and aahing as I type. The Baby Wash and Bubble Bath were just as yummy and gentle on my little one’s skin.
As for the Baby Oil, I’ll be honest and tell you I had to read the directions before using it. I always have baby oil on hand (aren’t you supposed to?) but the bottle has simply collected dust. Little twig has helped me change my ways; their Baby Oil has made for more quality time with my son. And he smells so good””not typical for a little boy.
So if you’re getting a little tired of hitting Bath & Body Works for your bubbly needs, you might want to try little twig. Their all-natural, organic products and company philosophy will make you feel good inside and out. Oh, and little twig’s products are perfect for babies too! – Emily

No comments on this one? I’m so disappointed! This stuff is awesome! I find the Bubble Bath soothes my own soul when I pour a few capfuls into the tub for my girls. And how can you not love their philosophy page? So awesome!

[...] little twig is by far one of my favorite lines of bath and body products for little ones. I not only love the fact that their products are all-natural and organic, but their company philosophy strikes home as well. My favorite? The Lavender, Lemon & Tea Tree Bodymilk.
