Stop and Smell the Laundry

May 3rd, 2006

Caldrea linen sprayI love linen spray. To be totally honest, it’s more like I love the idea of linen spray. How and when you use it is beyond me. (Yes, there are directions, but who has time to read them?) Anyway, if you’re looking for a way to freshen up your linens or just want people to think you take the time to freshen your linens, look no further than Caldrea’s line of linen sprays.

I recently purchased the White Tea Linen Spray ($12) after reading about it in a past issue of Real Simple. I have been happily sniffing it ever since. And though I have yet to take it downstairs to the laundry room, I am blissfully happy in my ignorance of how to actually use it. Instead I’m content to let the decorative bottle sit on my dresser so those visiting my home will be impressed.

In all seriousness, Caldrea’s White Tea Linen Spray is a fabulous fragrance, and I’m tempted to try some of their other scents, like Green Tea Pachouli and Basil Blue Sage (not on my linens, of course).

Guess what? I just took my bottle of White Tea Linen Spray and used it as an air freshener instead”¦and I didn’t even have to read any directions. Take that all you linen spray users! – Emily

Okay, in all honesty here, I hate to pay shipping. So I checked to see if there were any stores near me that carried these products. I live in the smallest town in America and so I was thinking I would probably have to drive forever to find somewhere that sold these products and to my amazement there are a TON of stores that have Caldrea products. There is actually a store only 10-15 min away from me and I am going there today! So anybody reading this do a check and see if there are stores near you. I would bet there are!

You know, I saw this in a local boutique. I sniffed it loved it and then something else caght my attention and I didn’t go back. Hmmm…. maybe I will give it a try. I’ll let you know if I actually use it the proper way or end up using it as air freshener LOL ;)

If I used a linen spray, I’d just spray my entire upstairs, as we are pretty much wall to wall laundry baskets full of linens (aka: clothes) that need to be put away. But we don’t have anywhere to put them. So they stay in the laundry baskets. It makes for hectic mornings. Do you think that, if I sprayed linen spray, it would bring me more serenity? :-)

Thanks for the cool find, Boutique Cafe!!

I think Caldrea’s linen spray is so magical that if you sprayed it on those baskets of laundry they’d fold themselves and put themselves away…kind of like Mary Poppins! Then you could go ahead and down that spoonful of sugar with time to spare. ;)

I LOVE linen spray! I spritz my sheets a few minutes before I crawl between the sheets at night, and it always seems to make by bed more heavenly!
