Thanks for inspiring all of us!

One of my favorite party plans to date has to be this Monkey Party. What I love about it is that it looks so fun but it’s also very doable. I’m going to be throwing a few birthday parties over the next few months for my 4 boys and this is definitely one that I will be doing!

Hi, for my daughters party this year we did “My Little Pony Princess”, with the new pony princess promendae movie it was perfect for all the pony fans. I bought wood jewelry boxes unfinished ($1.33 each at A.C. Moore) and painted them purple, my daughters favorite color, and filled them with all sorts of princess jewels. The girls all have pony merry go round center pieces, found at any party store, on their tables. Also we did a cupcake cake so each girl had the same decorations and size as the others, there were also uncrustables and juiceboxes in case the girls were still hungry. The cupcakes eliminated a lot of fighting such a bonus! For a craft we made princess crowns and decorated them with jewels along with picture frames that each of the girls got to fill with a picture from the party, such a great keepsake, we used the foam ones that are found at Michaels. We played a pony party CD and the room was overflowing with pink and purple balloons (tip rent a helium tank it is so much cheaper than paying the store to inflate the balloons) For the final activity we bought a castle pinata and each girl pulled a string to make the bottom drop out, it was filled with candy and confetti that spelled out my daughters name.

Hi, for my daughters birthday this year we did a squisy, squashy, sticky party…(kindergarten….and mudpies were a favorite on the playground…LOL) We started the party with a game where they had to reach into a container they couldn’t see through and try to guess what was in it….spagetti, gak, pudding, and jello etc…the one with the most correct won a squisy jelly ball thing…then we made a bunch of gloopy glopy fun tactile, hands on things…each item I put into disposable rubbermaid containers so each child went home with several containers of fun mess ( :D ) and the recipies to make them at home. We did ooblek, slime, silly putty, clean mud and playdough. The kids had a blast doing them. :D The containers doubled as their party favors as well. My kitchen was a bit messy, but boy did they have a great time. :D I can put up recipies if you are interested. :D
