Loved the show – no surprise because BC is the best! Carri I just wonder how you decided on the name Binsi for your product? Does it mean something or have some significance to you? I think it’s wonderful and I’m recommending your skirts to all my preggo friends.

Hi Daria~
I listened to the podcast. Carrie is amazing and came up with an AWESOME idea!!! I am so not looking forward to those AWFUL hospital gowns. I was so embarrassed when I had Allie and my BOOTIE was hanging out!
My due date is June 10th. I’m off to look through the baby name book with Phil, now that we know what we are having it’ll be much easier to decide on a name.
Hugs Daria!

First off, thanks Daria for mentioning our site, georgie tees. My girlfriend and I started the business only recently and the increase in traffic put a smile on our faces. Now if we could just figure out how to bring in some orders…
And second, Binsi has fantastic products! What an absolutely perfect idea. I just had our little George three months ago and wish I would have had a Binsi outfit. We’re planning on one more to make it an even four, so I’ll be sure and visit when the time comes.
One question for Carrie: How were you able to make celebrities aware of your product? We think our shirts are something celeb moms (and babies) would love but aren’t sure the best way to get the word out. Your advice would be welcome!
Thanks for a great site, Daria!
Love ya!

Hey Meg! Thanks for the kudos! I came up with the name because I wanted something short and cute, and started with a B. The original logo had the B as a pregnant belly. Unfortunately, it is a made up word that only means wonderful labor and birth apparel.
Thanks for all your recommendations!
Hugs!

Hi Daria,
I just want to thank you personally for doing such an amazing job with your podcasts. The The subjects are timely and relevant, and are always interesting!
I’ve supported the boutique community (as a buyer) on eBay for years – almost from the beginning (I remember when $60.00 was A LOT to pay for an outfit – LOL), and never could have imagined how huge and all encompassing the community really could grow – it seems like there are opportunities that encompass every aspect of “the business” that is devoted to children’s couture. What’s best is being able to support small businesses, and moms in particular!
Thanks again for the fantastic work, it is very much appreciated!
Kindest Regards,
Darcie

Hello, I found you via BE. Great site!

Enjoyed listening to the interview. I discovered your site only recently and am digging into the archives to listen some more. I had the privilege of interviewing Carrie and Kimberley a few years ago – both savvy business women with a good product.
