I’m really enjoying this Daria - not bad for an old guy, eh? And I love it that it comes into my iTunes automatically - now that I’ve subscribed by dragging the iTunes button at the bottom of the page into my iTunes window - talk about easy. I do hope that this is but one in a series of podcasts on organization. Go, Daria, Go.

Okay, I cannot resist- I have to submit a Maja Testimonial, its a little long, but here goes….
Left - to -Right, Top to Bottom, Focus , Focus! FOCUS! It is a wonderful mantra! I have been a client of Maja’s for several months now, and LOVE the results ! And the L-R, T-B FFF Mantra works, too! Whenever you are tackling a job that feels challenging (okay, insurmountable!) just remember the mantra and start at the left side of the room (shelf, closet, whatever!) , then work top-to bottom. It is so utterly simple that it is almost hard to believe that it works, but it does.
) and then we did the phone coaching for follow-up . The accountability of that might seem silly ( I’m a grown woman after all) but it really made the difference for me, and in only 5-10 minutes a day !
The great thing about Maja, is she can help you in person, or long distance. I live several hours away from her, and benefit greatly from the daily service she offers. I encourage anyone who is interested to enter this contest- Maja is a dream to work with. Non-judgemental, kind, energetic, cheerful- she’s the full-meal-deal !
Let me tell you a little about my experience with Maja. When I first wanted to hire her, I thought that she should know what she was getting into. So I photographed all the rooms in my home that I was struggling with ( which was most of ‘em) , and emailed them to her. I wondered if she could make a dent, and when she asked me what I wanted out of the experience, my number one goal was “Permanent Change’” . I didn’t want to have her come in and ‘hit it’ with me, get things all nice and neat, but then find myself back in the same spot in just a few weeks like all the other organizational methods, books, classes etc that I had tried did. I mean, anyone can organize stuff with another body to help, right? But I wanted SKILLS , baby!
Well, Maja came and worked with me one weekend and helped me to get started. She taught me the mantra and how to implement it, along with a few other simple, effective skills ( don’t want to give away ALL her secrets
A couple of months later, we did another weekend, and now I use her daily phone coaching service as needed.
Its been a few months, and last week I ran across the photos I had taken “Before” , and was completely stunned by the difference! Seriously, it was overwhelming just LOOKING at them! No wonder I felt guilty, tired, lazy and ineffective .
Now, thanks to Maja’s coaching, those same rooms are now a pleasure to walk into, my home feels like the haven I always wanted it to be, and I feel so amazing about my life! Its like a weight has been lifted off me. I have way, WAAaaaay! more free time now that I have implemented what we affectionately refer to as “Maja-sizing”, and my house is clean and orderly with (shock ! ) less effort. Working with Maja has been a tremendous, life-altering experience. I recommend her wholeheartedly, and wish the best of luck to everyone who enters. You’ll be glad you did!

Okay, I listened to this at the end of the day and was so pumped I didn’t want to go to bed. I told my husband that I felt like staying up to clean my spare room!! Too funny. Maja was inspiring and encouraging and I feel really excited about trying out the “Top to bottom, Left to Right”…I just don’t know what room to start with!! LOL
Daria, we’re loving your podcast and look forward to each new interview. Excellent! You’re a natural.

My mantra has always been “A place for everything and everything in it’s place…” I could SO relate to Maja’s thinking about if you are surrounded by disorganization… your life becomes disorganized and you do not “allow” your full potential to come forward….
GREAT GREAT show Daria… and I will add Maja’s mantra to my own…
Keep the podcasts coming!!!! I’m hooked!!!! :o)

I love organization! It was so fun to hear someone who is not ashamed of loving it, too - usually I hear people talking about how my organization obsession irritates them
I am not perfect at it, but you’ve encouraged me to continue finding systems that work for me, because that is what keeps me feeling free to be creative!
By the way, I need help motivating my highly UNorganized hubby to at least maintain some order around him! He groans every time I suggest we clean up the garage or a closet or something! Any suggestions for this in a future show would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Daria and Maja!!!
